We transformed this dark, dated and tired looking ground floor condo into a bright, functional, and modern space that has a timeless design. Our goals were to make the living room and bathroom more livable and comfortable while maximizing every inch of the kitchen to gain the most storage and counter space. To maximize the storage we used smaller 24“, apartment-sized appliances; this was perfect for the clients who only live in the apartment part of the year. We decided not to have counter seating at the peninsula in order to have extra cabinets facing the dining room; anyone who lives in a small apartment knows how key this extra storage is!

The living room used to have an old wood burning fireplace that took more away from the room than it added. We built out the fireplace to allow for a new electric unit to be installed. We framed it with floating shelves and closed storage. The result was  a living room that has more depth and dimension along with even more storage!

The bathroom was in dire need of a facelift. The shallow tub was replaced by a deeper and wider one perfect for soaking. The vanity transformed into a continuous cabinet with lots of hidden storage and more counter space then you have product for! We centered the sink and added an oversized mirror to give the small bathroom a feeling of spaciousness. Installing the vanity lights directly into the mirror not only gives you great lighting for your face but also allowed the mirror to be the full length of the bathroom. Floating shelves were added above the toilet as a great place to store some extra linens for guest or have a place to put some greenery. The final results turned this bathroom into a spa getaway—the perfect escape for the hustle and bustle of the city.

Now this condo is ready to be filled with many happy memories and moments.
