Heirloom started off as just a simple paint job and updating two bathrooms, but quickly grew into a whole home renovation to meet specific accessibility needs while still being functional for all users in their day-to-day life.

The Homeowners wanted a modern design that needed to fit with the heritage aesthetic of the exterior.  Heritage elements were added back like stained glass windows wall paneling in the powder room and Light and timeless colours were used. Updates included everything from the kitchen, new custom living room millwork, all bathrooms in the home, new skylights to open up the attic, and the whole basement suite.

Working within the existing space and minimal space planning changes resulted in a balance of using higher-end materials, appliances, and fixtures. While more cost-effective choices were used in other areas like the suite and basement bathroom to maintain the budget.
