Triple Dot Design Studio was founded in 2018 on the three intertwining principles of functionality, aesthetic, and longevity. It is our belief that when these elements are perfectly aligned they provide the cornerstones of solid, beautiful designs.

 Triple Dot Design studio is a full-service design firm that specializes in residential renovations and new builds. We are known for our creative, functional, and beautiful designs.

It is our belief that design is a collaboration between the designer and client. We ensure your space works perfectly with your daily life and personal style and use our expertise to guide you through all the decisions. The end result is a beautiful and cohesively designed home that maximizes functionality.

Triple Dot Design has been awarded 17 industry awards such as the HAVAN Awards for Housing Excellence and the Georgie Awards.  We have also had the honour of being published in Western Living, HGTV and Style at Home magazines.

 Cara Hansen

Cara is a Vancouver-based interior designer and the founder of the multiple award winning Triple Dot Design Studio.

Her interest and experience in design goes back to childhood and her family's construction business. She was exposed to the intricacies of the business from a very early age, witnessing projects from breaking ground to finished product countless times. This process gave her the time to imagine and plot what these spaces could become, ask questions, and get her hands dirty. She draws on that knowledge and experience to this day and backs it up with a Bachelor's degree from CIDA accredited Vancouver Island University.

Cara's personal style combines the practicality of Scandinavian design and the beauty of Canada's West Coast with the value of excellent craftsmanship and timeless design choices. By distilling those concepts to their fundamentals, Cara founded Triple Dot on the three inter-twining principles of functionality, aesthetic, and longevity.
